My name is Paloma Maldonado. As a little girl, I spent time in my mother’s hair salon, thinking I wanted to be just like my mom. I would watch her cut clients’ hair, and talk and laugh with them, and it seemed so fun!
At only 11 years old, my grandma allowed me to work in the hair salon she owned. I would sweep, clean the stations, clean the brushes, and many other tasks just to be in the salon.
From there, my love for helping clients look and feel their best only grew.
